When Jenny screamed for us we thought she was hurt but was far from she found 2 campers a big tree and a little river.Gina and I were in awe and when we saw white beef jerky and beans in one of the campers. we were about to pass out and there was a working stove, hose, and a working radio but it was to far to try and get a battery we took our baths with the hose. We ate a can of beans and drank the hose water it was the best water but the worst water hot and salty/gritty feel. You had to swish it around in your mouth a few times before you could get used to the taste, it was a irony taste almost of metal. There was about 50-100 cans of beans in the cabinet so you could tell these people were prepared.
We were at the campsite getting ready to go to sleep even

I have been living here at 100 Oakway dr. Richmond, VA for over a year now. As you know, I am in apartment number 2b with apartment number 32c above me. For 3 months now, I have been experiencing loud barking and banging from above. I know already that there should be no animals here in Oakway, but it seems to me that apartment number 32c is not aware, or are not concerned with the rules. I have made several attempts to speak to Ms. Dale about the dog and how loud they are, but she always tells me they are her kids and “kids will be kids.”…

Perhaps it was aloof of me to venture for a different response. It would be too abstract to believe from anyone. My classmates are mindless slaves that see no difference. I believe that every event in your life happens for a reason. Whether the outcome of the event is good or bad it teaches us a lesson. Jeannette Walls, one of my many favorite authors, states, "Sometimes something catastrophic can occur in a split second that changes a person's life forever; other times one minor incident can lead to another and then another and another, eventually setting off just as big a change in a body's life.” Like author Walls says, there can be one major incident or one minor, but both can impact one’s life drastically. My event was major and it was what marked my transition from childhood to adulthood.…

Disappointment flooded through me when I realized that 2 hours of driving through traffic was all for nothing. The air around us was thick and muggy as we set up camp. The flies were thick, and mosquitoes swarmed all around. My younger brother pressured us into starting a campfire, but the thought of flame and smoke was sickening.…
