After graduation I had my surgery. After waiting so long to even get an appointment with Dr. Marzetti, after having given up on baseball, I finally had my surgery. The day of was actually pretty surreal. I felt the same way as I did before a game. I was excited, nervous,anxious, a whole mess of emotions really. At the same time I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Like Dr.Marzetti said, there was a chance this wouldn’t work. But at the same time it was my only hope, because without the surgery I wouldn’t be able to play baseball anyway. And without baseball, I wasn’t going to college. So when the surgery was over and Dr.Marzetti told me and my parents that so far the surgery had been a success, I felt like I was seeing the light at the end of
