Personal Narrative-Abortion In The United States

"Canyon stop!", I yelled as I saw an someone stumbled and fall from opposite of the road. I'm surprised I saw, it was dark out. I don't remember getting out the car. One moment was in the passenger seat, then suddenly right by their side. It was as if I teleported. It was an elderly Hispanic woman, possibly in her sixties. She was heavily twitching and barely responding. I quickly dialed 911. As I was speaking with the dispatcher, her shaking hand gently grabbed my arm and she calmly denied the medical care, deprived of insurance and lack of income. She simply wanted a ride home and placed on her bed. My world froze, I was in complete shock. She accepted the fact it was her time.

She explained they were at the hospital together because her son's girlfriend was having an abortion. Being at the hospital made her uncomfortable, so she decided to walk home without telling him. This was when I feel like she gave up on life. She knew it was a cold night. She knew she had been experiencing seizures all morning. She knew they were financially unstable.
