“ My day has been as slow and as bad as a turtle trying to run” I whispered to myself sitting in my HAP class with my head in my arms. After a bad long day of school, I decided to hang out with some friends, trying to find a way to procrastinate even longer to do all my homework. I asked a few of my close friends, Lily and Jackson, to hang out and maybe go get something to eat. After the loud bell rang to dismiss all the students to go home, I met up with my friends and we were on our way.We walked out the big doors and right as I walked out the cold harsh air hit my face. As I walked outside it was snowing so hard and it must of dropped another thirty degrees. I wanted to get home as fast as possible so I started running back towards the school. I slipped on the icy concrete and landed on my back. I also broke my phone so I couldn't call my mom to help me. "This is the worst day ever!" I shouted in the quiet street. A few minutes later I finally picked my hurt body off the ground and tried to keep walking. I finally made it to the football field by my house but as I was walking up to it I realized they had built a huge fence and I have no idea how to get …show more content…

I didn’t have any other choice but to climb the fence. “ I got this”, I whispered quietly to myself. I took off my shoes so I could grip the fence better. The first time I tried I got like three steps up the fence then I get my toe caught on a loose piece of cold metal. I let go of the fence and landed on my back and i'm pretty sure I broke my toe because I couldn't feel it. “AHHHHH”, I screamed loudly. I tried to stand so I could try again. The second I tried I couldn't make it to the top without falling backwards. I tried and tried again for about one hour and I just couldn't get

So I gave it a go. Let me put it this way I could give you my version of it, which would be I was flying and made it 50 feet to the edge of the grass or I could tell you the version everyone else saw. I'll go ahead and tell the version everyone else saw, which would also be known as the real version. I went up the ramp and didn't make it but two feet and fell. My head slammed the handlebars and I got a big gash above my left eyebrow.…

So naturally, I had to go with him and a couple of my cousins to go and find it. When we were almost to the top after a long climb, I lost my balance on the edge of a cliff. As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality. So, when my father announced that we would be leaving the country to go to Scotland, the home of his and my ancestors, my world began to expand at a rapid pace. This trip could not have been timed more perfectly. The summer of 2007 marked the end of fourth grade, my first year at Saint Mary Academy Bay View.…
