One afternoon, I was in Guatemala. All of my family and I were at the theme park. My whole family and I, were so glad to be there, my cousins were happy. But, something terrible happened to me, for going on a roller coaster I should not have gone on to. As soon as we went inside the park, all of us could not choose which ride to go on. After all, we were going to get on mostly, all the rides. At last, we thought about the ride we all wanted to ride. However, we were very far away, so, we started walking forward. Meanwhile, we were walking, I could smell all the candy and sweets they had, my cousin and I wanted to eat the candy. We knew my mom would say “No, you are not getting candy, or else you might throw up while you are on a ride.” We …show more content…
Still, I can smell the treats, sweets, and goodies they have. At that time, I am getting ready to scream. I hold on tight and “whoosh” the roller coaster starts going down, the roller coaster turns, spins, goes all different directions. My sister is excited, I am scared, I felt like I was about to throw up. But suddenly, “Boom!” I hit the metal part of the seat where you are supposed to put your belt on, I feel scared, something inside tells me that something had happened. Then, finally the ride stops, while being happy, I feel nervous, because I know something happened to my tooth, since I felt something inside me. I get off the ride, asking my sister “Eva, did something happen to my tooth? Please tell me the truth, I trust you.” “You chipped your tooth, I know it sounds bad, but your tooth does not look that bad, you can barely even notice it” she said. I walk forward, ask my mom “Mom, did something happen to my tooth? I just feel something weird inside.” “Your tooth is chipped, your tooth is not that bad than what you might think, looks like nothing ever happened to your tooth.” In conclusion that is why I do not get on roller

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

I got comfortable with the rollercoaster as if I became one with it. I waved my arms up high enjoying the crazy loops and turns. The rollercoaster went inside of a dark cave that blinded everyone. Water splashed on us like an atomic bomb as we exited the cave. Maybe this rollercoaster was not so bad after all.…

There was a rush through my body thinking, Wow, that was fun!! We have gone on a lot more rides, by the end of the day. My favorite ride was that there was three different slides that are pitch dark and you get one soft mate and you go up a small set of wooden stairs then you race down the slide and the reason I loved it was because it takes about four seconds to get to the bottom of the slide but it feels like it takes a minute. A lot of the rides were fun some scary, and some adrenaline pumping. Ashley was tired and we had went on the rides we wanted to go on, so we had paid to get are belongings.…

Sit back, buckle up, and get ready to scream because I love roller coasters. My family and I go to Cedar Point about every month in the summer, and my dad and I go and ride everything in the park. It is just so fun! The one thing I really like about roller coasters is that there are little rides for the youth kids also. My least favorite thing is when I am not tall enough to enjoy a ride, which doesn’t really occur anymore.…

So this meant that my brother and sister got to sit in the very front of the roller coaster car, and my dad and I were right behind them. When we got in, it seemed like no time had passed from when we got in the line, to when we were seated in the ride getting ready for a moment that I would never forget. We waited for about 30 seconds for the workers to make sure everybody was strapped in safely. When the carts then started down this tiny slope to a straight away over the water. I was a mix of scared and excited for the ride.…

As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality. So, when my father announced that we would be leaving the country to go to Scotland, the home of his and my ancestors, my world began to expand at a rapid pace. This trip could not have been timed more perfectly. The summer of 2007 marked the end of fourth grade, my first year at Saint Mary Academy Bay View.…

Throughout my childhood I can recall many memories that made me smile, but the one that I remember most was when my parents told me that we were going to Disneyland for the first time. What made it even more memorable was that it was my very first time on an airplane. I had anticipated this vacation was going to be the best. I clearly recollect that it was a cool, crisp, winter morning when my mom woke me up at 5am. After breakfast, we waited for the Super shuttle to come pick us up for our flight at SFO.…

However, just as I said this the spiritless roller coaster attendant strapped me in permanently ensuring I couldn’t back out. After the attendants strapped everyone in, they did their whole spiel on how we were going to have a great time, but the words muddled in my mind as I was more focused on breathing. The car moved onward and screeched at us as if in warning. Then suddenly the car stopped, I’m pretty sure just to spite us.…

I had never had so much fun with obnoxiously loud carnival music blasting in my ears, small children stupidly goofing off in front of me, and the smell of food that was so greasy it made my stomach turn. Things that usually gave me a migraine, now made me intoxicated on my own cheerfulness. However, everyone knows that all good things must come to an end. Shortly after my dad and I had exited the carousel, it was time for us to leave the park.…

I got out of the car, looked up and remembered again the main reason why I hate roller coasters: heights! We got closer and closer to the rides, and with each step my heart pounded faster in my chest and I was shaking all over. All of a sudden, I looked up and was standing face to face with the biggest rollercoaster in the park. My stomach felt like it dropped 50 feet below ground, and I wasn’t even on the ride yet.…
