My dad looked me right in the eye. “NJ United is a AAA team out of Bridgewater Sports Arena.” “No, Dad, there is no way. NO! I don’t believe you. NO WAY!” I exclaimed with confusion and excitement. There was absolutely no way they wanted me to play for them in the tournament. AAA hockey makes big changes for anyone, especially for me who had just started skating ten months ago. I had already played on a boys team and a girls AA team so I had a good bit of experience.
