As a child I suffered from depression, anxiety, and PTSD. My family didn't understand me and had felt I was just a defiant child. Later on my ill managed issues had led me to atempt suicide where I to almost became a tragic story in which others would have asked why. Yet through my treatment and counseling I developed the skills and understanding to better maintain my illnesses.
So as of today I enjoy helping and educating people I know struggling with mental illness. My mom has struggled with depression and at times I've tried doing things with her to help prevent her from getting to deep in that cycle. My boyfriend himself struggles with anxiety and has no knowledge or understanding about mental health, so I have made my effort to help him that journey to know more and receive any help he needs.
