When it comes down to my senior year there really isn't much to be said, but the time and the people that I have associated with has made the beginning of the year a time to remember. In all honesty my senior year truly started in the summer leading up to the beginning of the year. Throughout the summer on the football team we have these practices that we are required to go too if you are someone that wish to be on the team. Know at the beginning of the summer everyone is excited to be back and eager to start this year's workout but this year thing have changed. With arrival of are new coach a lot of ¨traditional” thing that we use to do we did not participate in and the whole entire way we would work was changed. The intensity of the workout´s did not come right away, we slowly entered are way to one of the hard summer workouts of my life. …show more content…
Also they increased my role as a leader and made me think about how my actions as leader could affect the team if I do not do my job correctly. This always made me push harder and harder to be the best and make my friends and family proud, but that pressure is also the main reason why this summer was one to remember. Having my couch on my back for every little thing made me often wonder if the whole process was worth the struggle , and will my hard work and dedication pay off , but now in present day i know that it has for me been a great investment for me and the rest of my teammates.this summer has brung use together like never before and we see are work pay off on the field. And each day i go out and play with my brothers i will never forget the times that we spent together in those hot days summer

My sunburn lines between my shorts and socks symbolized the restless, tiring hours spent out on the field. Every Tuesday and Thursday, for two and a half hours, the sun scorched my body while my legs would scrape into the ground. The cluster consisted of the seniors’ looming bodies that would go shoulder to shoulder against my own freshman self as our feet would battle for control. While this exhaustion enthralled and encouraged my game, the sprints, planks, runs, and more caused me to dread going to that grassy field every week. The humidity produced heavy, useless pants from my lungs as my throat would feel as if it was closing in from a claustrophobic nightmare.…
