When you’re in a situation, you can complain about it, feel sorry for yourself, you can do a lot if things, but how are you goanna make the situation better? – Tony Dungy August 28th started out like any other day. I woke up, went to class, and then went to work. While at work I made a call to a friend to ask him “where’s the scene at?” he tells me “latter tonight off Bellaire and Addicks- Clodine” I asked him how much to get in he said “$5 but don’t worry about it I got you.” I said ok and spent the rest of the night waiting to go to this party unaware of the events that would take place that night. I returned home at about 5 pm to find my roommate on the couch watching TV we had a brief conversation about him going home for the weekend. He left around 6 pm. After he left I spent the next 3 hours trying on clothes (which in hindsight is embarrassing to admit) looking for that perfect look. I eventually settled on the clothes I wanted to wear and was out the door. I got into my car a 2010 Chevrolet Impala, turned the car on , then sat there for a few minutes debating on whether or not to get cash. I check myself. I’m cut up and a little bruised but overall I was ok. I look back he was still in his car and it was leaking gas, so I run back to his car and pull him out. I asked him if he was ok he didn’t answer. I couldn’t tell if he was drunk concussed or both. The police arrived on scene within minutes. I proceeded to flash my badge. The officer said “who are you with” I said “DOJ” he said “ok tell me what happened.” I told him my side of the story; he tells me that the other guy is at fault and to go talk to EMS. EMS recommends I go to the emergency room, so I did. The doctor gave me pain killers and so Neosporin for the cuts on my arms. Those cuts would heal and become
