Personal Narrative-A Modest Proposals

At the age of twenty, what girl would even think about her boyfriend proposing? I know that every girl dreams of her wedding day, how it would look, and the way it would turn out. Planning a wedding is not an easy task like everyone thinks it is. Planning my wedding involved three main things; the date for the wedding, the type of dress that I would wear, last but not least, would be the type of venue I was going to have. Another main important thing is, where it would take place. The emotions that I felt as I started to realize that he was proposing were beyond anything that I can explain. I was dead set that my wedding date had to be November the 14. After finally deciding on the date for the wedding. I had to figure out where my venue was going to take place, if outside or inside. So in the end, I asked my finance where he would like to have the venue. He said he would love if it could take place outside. During the venue we had cocktail hour, we severed some wine and crackers with cheese, also we had little cakes. Fruit was served as well. For our main dish we had two dishes out guests could choose from. One of the main dish was the Cindy and Travis pastrami. The second dish was the Macadamia Crusted Halibut. Our guests were really happy with what we served. Most of them came up and said we can’t wait to see the wedding cake. My cake was a three story cake with a bunch of little ones on the side. The cake was three types of flavors chocolate, vanilla, and what we call tres leches. Planning the venue for me was not that hard, because I knew that I didn’t want too cramp so many things into it because then it doesn’t turn out
