People tend to compare me to Kanye West, well this is a simply matter of fact that like him I have an ego in the things I do. As a younger me I would've never thought that I would be looking into Colleges, taking the time to fill up for Scholarships, studying for SAT. Having a hispanic background this seemed nearly impossible, to think about these things was a joke. When I was younger, my mindset was to simply to graduate from high school and be done with my education. However things changed for me when Willamette Academy told me that I had the potential to go to college and become a better person, than what society expects from a color person.
As I got to know myself better in Willamette Academy, I learn that I really like to be that person who takes the role of a leader, of course it meant to be a good leader that brings the team to victory not just himself. I would say that the book “The Great Gatsby” by F.
