A Coffee Date with Brandon…..
People tend to compare me to Kanye West, well this is a simply matter of fact that like him I have an ego in the things I do. As a younger me I would've never thought that I would be looking into Colleges, taking the time to fill up for Scholarships, studying for SAT. Having a hispanic background this seemed nearly impossible, to think about these things was a joke. When I was younger, my mindset was to simply to graduate from high school and be done with my education. As I got to know myself better in Willamette Academy, I learn that I really like to be that person who takes the role of a leader, of course it meant to be a good leader that brings the team to victory not just himself. Thus making me a great role model that has followers, who believe that I’m going far. By these aspects I’ve learn that my

Likewise, the reason that I really like the business field is simply that it connects nations with each other, making the world run. Not only does this make me happy but it's something that I see myself doing.
I would say that the book “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald has to do some part with the decision of me seeking to be a business person, the role by Jay Gatsby showed me being successful doesn't necessarily mean that you have to cheat your way to that lifestyle. What I’m trying to seek is that like Gatsby, I want to be successful regardless of my past, but what he failed in I want to be successful, but the right way not the corrupt way. I would say that his role is similar like my, we both come from rough

Walking on the pool deck my freshman year I was nervous yet excited. I questioned what I was doing as I had never played water polo, but I decided to give it a try. 1. When people think of the term “business,” they usually assume that it is the science of making profit. However, being a member of the business academy at Bergen County Academies teaches one more than how to generate profit; the experience opens your eyes to another way of interpreting the world. In sophomore year, I had the honor of competing with several other ABF students in Euro Challenge, a national competition where students formulate monetary policy recommendations based on the economic state of a nation in the Euro Area. Before Euro Challenge, my education in business mostly centered on memorizing various marketing terms and financial ratios.…

From the start of my four year commitment to football and marching band I saw leadership all around me. My first summer of football my freshman year the seniors were prime examples of leadership. They were right there to correct form on our lifts, blocks, and set the overall example of what it meant to be a Mead football player. Later that summer I threw in marching band camp to my agenda. The drum major, my sister, lead the band with kept the entire band in order, and worked with us until our sets were flawless.…

In a community, being a leader is often difficult due to all the components and struggles that go into being one. A leader is an individual who can take charge in various situations, and do it effectively in a way which makes others follow them. Throughout my years, I have grown from being a primarily shy person to someone who is not afraid to step up and be the leader I am now. Today, I am able to consistently demonstrate what it is to be a leader in my daily life. Although coming into high school as a freshman was intimidating for me, I knew that in order to succeed, I needed to open up and try something new.…

This includes assisting students with discovering their talents and interests, therefore developing a love of learning, while developing into ethical, productive citizens. Accomplishing this requires a leader who is knowledgeable in pedagogy and curriculum, including the use of data and current assessments to enhance instruction, and who possesses outstanding communication skills, the ability to manage an operation’s resources effectively, promotes collaboration and teamwork, and is passionate and committed to helping students learn.
