Personal Narrative: A Humorous Person

I step into the huge room filled with people dancing, drinking, and gossiping. The smell of champagne and wine hits my nose along with the sent of cologne and perfume. As I look around I notice the windows are draped with the most elegant red curtains and the place has dim lighting making the mood calm and a little bit romantic.

A person takes my shaw from me and I thank him. I smooth out my gold and black ballgown made of the finest fabrics.

I stand up straighter when I notice all the heads have turned my way. I look to where the other eyes have fallen and, I see a tall muscular man in a sleek tuxedo, making his way toward me. He takes his steps with power, confidence, strength, and determination. He bows at the waist and I curtsy. I can't

He wraps his free arm around my waist and I rest my hand on the back of his shoulder. We start waltzing to the slow music in an elegant form. Being this near to him I can tell his facial features and he's the most handsome person I've ever seen. Hell Paul Wesley is nothing next to him, not even Jensen Ackles. He has black hair and these wonderful onyx eyes. His jawline is perfectly square. It's so sharp I'm sure that if I touch it, I'll cut my finger. His lips look so soft and full. I didn't even know it was allowed that one man could look so beautiful. He's at least 19 so how on earth can he be a …show more content…
I'm completely and utterly dumbfounded.

If feel two sharp teeth sinking into my skin making it spill out blood from my wrist and I cry out in pain. Oh gosh this is it I'm dying thanks to a freaking psychopath.

He stops biting me and licks up all the blood that he missed.

"Please stop." I whimper to him.

"You'll thank me for this sooner or later."

He bites into his own wrist still holding onto my waist with an unbeatable strength. I squirm in his hold but it doesn't do me any good. He looks me in the eyes "Stay still." And I do just that. I just stand there still as a statue while he put his wrist up to my mouth and forcing me to drink his blood. He brushes my hair with his hand soothingly and kisses the top of my head.

"Good girl." He says as takes his wrist away from my mouth.

"Pleas just stop already." I whimper.

"I'm sorry Amara but you and I are destined to be together. Soon you will see that." He takes my chin into his hand and moves my head with so much strength I hear a snap and then darkness consumes me. I see a big bright ball and a cloud of smoke circling around it tainting it with blackness. The light is trying to fight it off but it's failing

The pleasing scent of freshly ground coffee wafted through the apartment, infiltrating Tom’s dream with its aromatic fragrance. Opening his eyes, he found himself alone on the sofa, the blanket he’d had draped around his shoulders now neatly tucked around his boxer-clad body. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and stifling a yawn, he threw back the blanket and looked around his apartment. “Hey, sleepyhead.” Booker stood leaning against the kitchen counter, a cup of coffee in his hand.…

I usually find satisfaction when an example of comedic wit comes to light. The art of sarcasm, and the structure of satire have never ceased to amuse me. Although, when this specific brand of “humor” comes about, I sit back not to marvel at the thought or eloquence of the speech, but to restrain my own deeply rooted antipathy. When these graceless, crude masses shove their way into conversation, I watch in disdain as they merely beg for the attention of their audience. My muscles tense and cringe while my fingers curl reflecting my desire to retreat from an area so comically contaminated.…
