Personal Narrative: A Healthy City Melrose

July 29th, 2028. Los Angeles California, I was sitting in my office with a birds eye view off my store. Hype City Melrose. I was finishing some things on my computer, replying to emails and ordering more stock for our store. I had Giancarlo, Wajeeh, and Diego downstairs helping customers and watching the store for me. It was a slow Tuesday afternoon, only a couple customers an hour. We were about to close the store for the night and a group of 4 walked in. They all looked suspicious but I did not think they would steal or do something to our store. I was watching them in the corner of my eye, they weren't doing anything other then snooping around the store. They went into the far right corner and I could not see them anymore so I turned on …show more content…
I asked if they needed any help and they responded with no, I went up to the front cash register to check the cameras and as soon as I was about to take a seat they all ran out of the store. Giancarlo and I chased them but they were way too fast to catch up to. Giancarlo has already called the cops and they are on their way to the store. Once we got back to the store the police were just rolling up with their lights on and their sirens blasting. They had do some lame incident report that was just making us more stressed then we already were. Constable. James asked if he could see the security footage so we showed him, while him and his partner were watching the footage Qias walked in and look very confused. I came to the front and said hello then he asked what had happened. I gave him the story and he wasn't the happiest human being after that. He informed us that he will do anything to help us get the merchandise back that they …show more content…
It started off very slow, but that was okay because none of us really got much sleep last night. We were all up late searching online for our stuff. About 45 minutes later Qias came jogging into the store. He looked way to excited, he is the type of guy that keeps his excitement in but today he wasn't. I got up from the front desk and dapped him up then asked why he was so excited. He said that he had finally found our stuff posted on craigslist less than 5 miles down the road. Qias texted him asking when he could come take a look at the goods he was trying to sell. Yesterday Constable. James gave me his personal number so I could call him whenever we found the people. I told him that we have located our stolen merchandise and we need his help to get it back. He told us that he would come to the store then drive us to the meeting plan we have planned with the sellers. It was around 10:30 when Constable. James got to the store. Qias, Giancarlo and I all got into the back seat of the cop car and then drove to the meeting spot. We wanted to stay hidden from the seller so he wouldn't flee so we parked 2 blocks down and then walked to the meeting point. Qias walked up to the sellers and just acted like a normal buyer looking to buy the stuff. After about 5 minutes of Qias talking with them he waved us in. Constable. James went behind the group and demanded them to drop the stuff and turn
