Personal Narrative: A Good One For Elaine

The next day was not a good one for Elaine, as soon as she woke up you could hear her gag and then run straight to the bathroom that connected our rooms to empty her stomach. I am glad I didn't drink last night or else I would also be in the bathroom and that would not be pretty, considering we only have one.

I walk to the kitchen to make breakfast for the both of us, we had very little groceries stored in the cupboards so there weren't that many options. However, we did have bread, eggs and bacon, all you really needed for a hangover breakfast. I had just finished making french toast with bacon on the side as Elaine walked out of her room, she looked rough hopefully the breakfast was going to help her feel better. It really is a swing or a miss with food the day after drinking; you either feel great after eating or you end up throwing up the food you just ate. She sits down at the counter, drops her elbows onto the bench and slumps her face into her hands.
