Personal Narrative: A Day While Driving On I-45 To My Car

One day while driving on I-45 to my job suddenly my car started to hydroplane. My car’s emergency lights immediately came on my dashboard I could hear something was in my tire. I put my hazard lights on and looked for the nearest exit. Anxious and worried I focused and found an exit. I was not too far from my house and I knew of a tire shop close by. My goal was to stay calm and to drive to the tire shop safely. I turned my hazard lights while driving cautiously. The other vehicles were honking at me. I could see drivers saying obscene things to me. I saw the exit and drove toward the tire shop. Taking a deep sigh of relief that I was not hurt and thankful I made it to the tire shop safely. Some cars reached their destination on time, other cars might have arrived late, or rerouted their destination. In my case my car had a flat. So, I could not make it straight to my destination without changing the tire. Once I changed the tire I was still able to make it to my destination, not when I planned, but I still made it. Having a flat tire was not ideal and it definitely was not a part of my plan. However, I was still able to change my tire, and get on the same road I had a flat tire on. But, I drove in a different lane. Despite inconvenience I still made it to my destination. This experience was a revelation to me. I was dismissed from law school, some classmates made the curve some did not. I learned from my flat tire to remember to stay focused on getting to my destination. Cars will honk drivers will say obscene things the car hazard lights might be on. Calm down change what needs to be changed, focus on the goal, and continue to my destination. People get to their destination at different times I thought I would get to my destination in law school the first time but I had a flat tire.
