I continued my daily routine, pack up backpack, go to friends to town and go home. When I got home I started my homework, it was already late and I wondering how late I would get to sleep tonight. I looked through my assignment notebook and was relieved to find that I had a very light load. I finished all of my homework but once again I ignored the fact that my L.A. paper would be due very soon and left it for tomorrow ignoring the consequences in the back of my mind. I played my game until late again, pushing the waves of tiredness and the thoughts of how staying up late again will effect me

Formulas and grammar rules overwhelmed my thoughts as I drove home in silence. I didn 't know how I would catch up, as I was already behind and it was only the first day. As I pulled into my driveway, I remembered the nervous smile that had spread across my face earlier this morning. I cringed, as it was painful knowing that this was my new reality, and trudged up to my room to tackle the mound of homework in my backpack. Without a job, I would be able to spend more time relaxing as well, and come home right after school, do my homework, and then sit back and do absolutely nothing. Some strategies that I have picked up along my high school journey are to bring some type of snack to school and to bring my headphones so that I can listen to music whenever I get stressed.
