It was a bright sunny day outside my office in the World Trade Center. Getting my work done glancing at stock writing reports, you know the usual. I had my formal attire on today and my hair well done. It was my job as the chief of staff to take care of such things to get the economy balanced and get the most out of my employees. Everything was going swell that is what I thought until 8:50, when someone yelled, “PLANE!” Everything went still at that moment. It felt like time was slowing down, the plane thrashing into the building, people screaming it was total destruction in there. We all ran screaming, trying to get out of the blazing building, escaping the scorching flames. My heart was racing. Out of nowhere we began to see reality and we all thought we were goners.

I knew I had to do something I was trying to save others by saying “Run don’t walk, get out of the building”. I helped one of my co-workers that had trouble getting out by quickly getting a grip on him and taking him out. The fire fighters rushed up the stairs trying to evacuate everyone out of the raging fire, all of the sudden another plane smashed into the neighboring south tower. There was an explosion following vile smoke with a blistering fire. Everyone panicked this was reality and they indeed needed to escape or they were gone.
