I look up and see the car passing us swerve, trying to get out of the way, but they end up hitting the deer head on. The car hit it so fast the deer is flying up in the air, right in front of us and it feels like time froze. You could see the deer as plain as day flying in the air in front of us, then we hear a loud crash. That crash turns out to be our windshield cracking, the deer hit our windshield. In shock I jerk the truck over to the side of the interstate. I can still see for the most part because it hit more of the passenger side. Two of them come up to the window and ask us all a few basic questions, then they ask me to come back to the cop car and answer questions because I was the one driving. Nervously, I get in the cop car and there is a ton of TV screens, and computers and radio stuff in there. It is really cool but at the same time kind of intimidating, and I am nervous. One cop asks questions while the other is typing stuff into his computer. A half hour passes and we are done, the two of them then get out to take a look at the windshield. They tell us if we even try to drive home our windshield would probably fall or cave in on us, so we get back in the truck and wait for Brocks parents to
