Personal Narrative: A Day At Rahway Prison

The moon hid scared of the sudden darkness that had taken the sky hostage, as the pink and yellow volleyball flew back and forth. My cousins, Julia, and Samantha had come from Florida for a visit that summer and we were all once again together just like we were before they moved off to West Palm Beach, Florida. Samantha, Gabriella, Julia, Alexa, Adam, and Aaron. While playing our favorite game in the living room, the front door swung open and closed harshly. Uncle Peter obviously did not have a good day of work at Rahway Prison, but once he turned to us he picked up Julia and Samantha, grinning and finally putting them down.
After the well-needed tradition of Peter and aunt Theresa’s fight, we headed down to the boat dock’s, his favorite

“So, how about we go down to the water,” he began, starting down the hill. We grouped in the truck and headed home after our exhausting meet with the docks.
“Dad that's the wrong turn, our house, it’s to the left,” Gabriella proclaimed, perplexed as we came to a sharp stop. “Not at all, I’m going the right way,” he began laughing while we reluctantly opened the door and stepped out on the disheveled street.
“I know you all had a better time than you would have had sitting home board,” he was still smiling as he pulling into their driveway. “What no thanks?”
The door welcomed us home, as we stepped inside. “Hi guys, did you have fun at the docks?” my mom questioned.
“Yes, we even went to the cemetery too, just for kicks,” uncle Peter declaimed, his teeth showing. As we all settled in, we laid down in the backyard and just talked sipping warm hot chocolate by the fire.
