A Child Removed from his Body

This was the first of my paranormal experiences, that began my journey to understanding the other side.

It was 1980 and I was 9 years old.it was a typical night in the Vara home. Mom sent my sister and I to bed for the night as it was getting late and it was summer time in Rochester NY my home town.

This night would be different than any other night in my short life, this night was very different and only now do I understand what happened on that August night. It was hot and sticky but we had a fan running in my room. I fell to sleep thinking about whatever it is 9 year old think about.
I fell into a deep sleep only to wake up roughly four hours later.
I woke and stepped out of my bed

This time I woke up at around 3:20 am, this is significant because while I did not connect the dots when these things happened. I did later on, Remember the 3:20 am because you will see that a couple more times as this book goes along.

I woke up as I said at 3:20 am, my brother had a digital clock on his headboard in bright red, so there was no mistaking it.
I again just like last time stepped out of bed, I stand up and something feels different, something feels familiar. I slowly look back and omg it is happening again. This time the room looks a bit different. The furniture is moved around and it is all quiet except the sound of the clock's numbers flipping every min. This time I attempted to wake my brother quick because I always looked up to Scott and if anyone could help me, I knew he could, Just one problem ! he will not wake up or even open one eye. I shook him like crazy but he never shook ! only my arms did, I told you it was strange. I could feel his skin, I could smell his feet odor through the room, but I could not affect his physical form, another words,, he could not feel

That closes my first chapter of my first lessons from the other side, The lesson I got from these two OBE's is that we are all energy that uses the flesh as a vehicle . We are not our body's but rather inhibit these body's and we are in what I call the classroom.

We start out in grade school and each time we learn what it is we are here to learn we advance in grades. If we do not pass the class, then we may just have to take the class over again.

What we learn here in the 3rd dimension we take with us on our spiritual journey.

I was for some reason suppose to know we are more than the flesh. why have these experiences in the first place ? why have they become so important to me ?
I think because it is part of this lesson for me, however your lesson may be much different than mine.
We are all here for different reasons, but we are all going to the same place when it is time to check out of this hotel we call

This exhausting life that I'm currently managing through can only be revealed by the labyrinthine syntax enlisting my busy schedule routine. This daily act has been going on for years and years and hopefully one day by the help of syntax structures, I will be able to cut my routine in half. Or indeed, start of with new sentences to improvise it. With darkness reigning over the atmosphere, I pay no attention to loudness of my alarm clock. Being lazy as always, I continue to sleep soundly as I lay on the bed like a dead corpse meanwhile missing several alarms.…

IN WICCA, THE DIVINE, or deity, is greater than creation, and yet it is creation. It is immanent in all things, but it is also distant and beyond our grasp. It is too vast for us to comprehend in its entirety, but we can begin to experience it through our rela- tionship with the gods, who are facets of the divine. As I mentioned briefly in chap- ter 2, the two main aspects of deity that Wiccans work with are simply called the Goddess and the God. They are the female and male “halves” of the divine.…

Johnson supports his argument that our understanding of meaning is debilitatingly limited without accounting for the embodied experience of the world by examining five ways that the body engages in it: biologically, ecologically, phenomenologically, socially and culturally. Positing that the body is actively intrinsic to all these areas of life, Johnson reveals through these levels of functioning the ways that it is ‘more than a lump of pulsating flesh” (275). As I made my own ‘conscious effort to change how my mind worked’ through meditation, I experienced changes in my life that relate to many of Johnson’s following categories of embodiment. 1. The body as a biological organism – Describing the body as the “…principal locus” of our “being-in-the-world” from which “(our) world extends out from”, Johnson discusses the intricate coordination of biological systems that provide the palette for all experiences from which we infer meaning in life.…

For many years, one of philosophy 's fundamental debates has swirled around the idea of people having spiritual experiences. A first encounter with such claims have been around for centuries among animists which believe the spirit they experience in their peyote ritual is real. Some great thinkers, however, hold a different view on the matter stating that the god’s experience is just in one’s head, therefore not real. Nevertheless, there are several ways to support the view that what the Huichols experience in their head is real. I shall argue by first analyzing what it means for something to be real, then differ between the two types of realities I believe exist: the physical reality and the non-physical reality.…

The concept of education is how to learn, understand material, and knowledge that is taken in. Through education certain values and beliefs are developed. These beliefs, habits, and skills shape a student’s character. There are two controlling factors that come into play when discussing the concept of education; one is the teacher and the other is the student. As illustrated in Richard Feynman’s article, “O Americano Outra Vez,” a student’s learning focus is overwhelmingly influenced by the teaching style they are subject too.…

The Human Person: 2 parts, 1 Substance By Erik Welch Ohio Dominican University Philosophy 206 Section 1 - Thesis: Word Count: 220 The human person is composed of two parts, but only one substance. These two parts are namely the physical body and the immaterial soul (Aquinas & Pasnau, 2002). The human must be one substance because two separate substances could not conceivably function together as a single unit, in an effective and efficient manner, the way the human person does. Yet, while many would argue it seems logical that the human person is two parts to one substance, others could argue that while scientists currently cannot completely understand how the human person came to be and the intricate complexities of the…

Plato covered a lot of philosophical ground during his life. To summarize all of his ideas would require an entire book. My goal with this section is to hit on Plato’s big ideas so that a beginning student can have a good grasp of what Plato was all about, see how his philosophy continues to influence Western culture today, and, hopefully, be inspired to dig deeper into his work. The Tripartite Nature of the Soul Because so much of Plato’s philosophy grows out of his view of the nature of the human soul, let’s start off by unpacking his thoughts in that realm.…

The heaviest difference between the human race and all other creatures living on the face of the earth is our open-ended search for truth. We are not satisfied with the sole fact that we are here and that we exist. Deep inside the mind, or perhaps the heart of all men is a spirit that yearns for understanding his place in the universe. Ralph Waldo Emerson believed that the answers to these great questions could be found all around us. According to Emerson, all things under heaven are interdependently connected, like individual links to a great eternal chain.…
