I choose to enroll in the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Game Design degree an engaging game and experience. Video games have been and always will be a huge part of my life, over many years I have analyzed the content produced by independent and AAA developers and all of my experiences have gotten me started on generating my own ideas for games and all of the different elements that make a fun game work, thus I have been dreaming of the day I become apart of the gaming industry and even more so having the skills to bring my own ideas to life. Becoming a professional in the gaming industry would fulfill my hopes and dreams, giving me a great sense of accomplishment. I want to be apart of the gaming industry because creating video games is my passion and I cannot imagine doing anything else. …show more content…
My second plan is to finish a game my best friend and I have been working on; currently we have organized our ideas for the game into a book and with time plan to start development of the game. Working for blizzard means a lot to me because I love their games and more specifically the Diablo series. Diablo has always intrigued me and working on the series would be a dream come true. If I can't work for blizzard, finishing the game I am working on with my friend is very important because creating my own experience is the ultimate goal of my career. I believe this degree and this school would be a huge stepping stone to becoming involved in the gaming industry as well as to fulfill my hopes of developing my own experience which is why attending DigiPen means so much to
