In February of 2018, I injured my back at work, after previously breaking my pelvis and collarbone in August of 2003 due to a fatal car accident. Upon seeking medical attention after my back injury, I was prescribed to attend physical therapy twice a week for five weeks. At the time of my first physical therapy appointment, I instantly fell in love with this field just by observing the atmosphere and the actions by staff members and patients. During my physical therapy experience, I continued to become more and more fascinated with the profession and began doing research on the career.
