Personal Narrative: A Career In Physical Therapy

In February of 2018, I injured my back at work, after previously breaking my pelvis and collarbone in August of 2003 due to a fatal car accident. Upon seeking medical attention after my back injury, I was prescribed to attend physical therapy twice a week for five weeks. At the time of my first physical therapy appointment, I instantly fell in love with this field just by observing the atmosphere and the actions by staff members and patients. During my physical therapy experience, I continued to become more and more fascinated with the profession and began doing research on the career. The physical therapist assistant that worked with me during my recovery was amazing, and when I mentioned going into the field, she automatically began talking
