Personal Narrative: A Career In Nursing

I have decided to further my career in nursing. My path has not been an easy one, but God has brought me to CCU, with His perfect timing and ambition, to further a service for Him in this career.
I have been a CNA for 22 years with the desire to become a nurse. My first attempt at nursing school was at Missouri Southern State University. When I became pregnant with my son at a young age, I chose to stop taking classes, so I could continue working and focus on being a mother. I continued the dream of being a nurse, but it was not the right time for education.
As God continued to work in my heart, I was faced with numerous “tests”, to bring Him back into my life. I was raised in Christian home, however did not chose God to guide my life
