Going back to college after being out of school for almost a decade was intimidating and exciting all at the same time. But going back college and obtaining a degree in nursing has been a lifetime dream. Ensuring I used good strategies to do well and remain focused and on track were two things I knew I needed to make certain I reach my goal of graduating and obtaining my dream job of working as a trauma nurse at the Ohio State University hospital. One of the strategies I used to reach my goal is planning ahead. At the beginning of each semester, I took each class’s calendar and organized them into my planner.
