As a transfer student and a minority woman pursing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I have been taking intense courses in order to remain on track to graduate in 2019. This past year has been hectic and I am finally adjusting to Rochester’s academic requirements. With only a few semesters left, there are several things I want to do as a student that include doing an independent study, an internship next summer and studying abroad. Unfortunately, in order to be able to do all of this I would have to overload at least three of the four semesters I have left.
