Personal Narrative: A Career As A Space Shuttle

I have always been fascinated with planes, helicopters, and anything else that flies. My desire to become an aerospace engineer was cemented when I had the opportunity to attend Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama while in middle school. I already had a general fascination with space, just like many other kids, but I didn't have practical knowledge. After one week, I could explain how every stage of a space shuttle worked, from stabilizers to engines, how the thermal tiles in different areas of the shuttle performed, and even how to land one. Since then, I've made an effort to learn about the various physics of flight and how many different kinds of craft work and perform under different conditions, and I'd like to be able to graduate with my
