The next attribute I have is my sensitivity. This may stem from my childhood experience. Besides being sorry to me, my mother was holding the strong negative perception toward herself as a divorced woman. Therefore, she kept telling me that as a child in a stepfamily, I was not supposed to do certain things, since she believed others would judge both her and me. This has affected me in an unconscious way. It was not until a few years ago, I realized I was being so sensitive on other people’s thoughts, and I think the attribute is significant for a social worker.
