Personal Narrative: A Career As A Registered Nurse

Registered Nurses develop and manage nursing care plans, instruct patients and their families in proper care, and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their health. Moreover, the primary requirements for nurses is to obtain comprehensive knowledge and have useful ability when facing diverse settings. Nurses will have the opportunity to interact with patients and give them care. A registered nurse will gain experience in organizing and managing the patient’s care, working with patients suffering from a variety of illnesses, and improving their basic nursing skills. Registered nurses perform variety of tasks to take care of their patients. Specific skills help nurses provide the best care for the patients and families …show more content…
The school was also very modest yet fun because I was surrounded by my friends. My mama is an inspiring lady and I want to be like her when I am an adult. In December 31st, 2008, my grandma came to United States because that was where my family lived. They regularly came to visit Pakistan so does my grandpa. Furthermore, my grandma was going to America, and my family already applied for visa to come to the United States. My mother always wanted to go there and travel to many other places. We went through the registration process and medical process as well. In addition, we got the call and we were so excited that there were tears in my family's eyes. When we came to America on March 14th, 2009. We came to Sidney, a small town which I did not expect. My sister and I started going to school, but my brother was not old enough yet. In high school, I took challenging classes that had helped me decide what career I should choose. I am happy that my parents decided to come to America so we can get a better education and be successful. They are working so hard and I am happy they are my parents. It is difficult sometimes because you have people whose parents did attended high school and college in America. But they took a sacrifice for us, and we are going to make their dream of their children getting a good education and being successful adults come true. I like working hard for my goals and making my parents proud. I want to go into a community college specifically SUNY Delhi because it is much cheaper than private. In five years from now, I see myself getting my The Bachelor of Science in nursing degree and will prepare me for variety of professional roles and
