Personal Narrative: A Career As A Radiologic Technologist

It takes a special kind of person to work anywhere in the medical field, this includes being a radiologic technologist and not everyone is cut out to do it. It takes perseverance and dedication not only to make it through school but to continue on in your career.
I have been a CNA for over two years and the experience I have gotten since I started is beyond what I ever imagined. Not only do you get physical patient experience but you also get the emotional experience. You can’t learn how to sympathize with a patient in a classroom, that can only be learned from actually doing the job and spending time with patients.
