My program advisor, Sue, has had the biggest impact on me. In December of 2014, I was laid off from my factory job. I made the decision to return to school and earn a degree in a growing field. I choose the Medical Administrative Professional program. I had no experience in health care and suddenly felt overwhelmed by my choice. Sue was always encouraging, but one day when I was being really hard on myself, she made me really see my worth. I was beginning to think I would never understand the subject matter and was discussing my frustrations with Sue.
