Nursing can be a very challenging career for anyone. I’ve had the privilege to experience in a healthcare environment for the past two years. Throughout my experience I learned some great skills and techniques from many of the nurses that I was able to work with. After being in the setting for a short period of time I know this is where I can see myself working for the rest of my life.
I chose to do Hoya I, also known as a CNA class, my Junior year of high school; this helped me get a feel of what health care was all about. I experienced in all different departments from: a hospital setting, nursing home setting, to a clinic setting. Last year I was able to participate in the works of a CNA. For the class we had to finish forty hours of clinicals.
