When a challenge is pressing on me, I have to keep pushing and trying. I know the Lord has a place for me. I have to remind myself. I’m a stranger just passing through this darkness. ‘Shatima Miller; you are a young woman with a purpose in life.’ My purpose is to become a Hospice Nurse, Nurses’ aid sick and elderly people on their death beds. I have 10 years experience caring for sickly and elderly as a Certified Home Health Aide. I worked as a Medical Assistant for three years. I am ready to take the steps I need to fulfill my destiny. I believe it is important to have a profession, where I can express and glorify God caring for others. I attended Nyack College in spring 2013, passing all my classes with good grades. My overall GPA is 2.97.
