It is 3pm at AMC Studio 30, I clock into the Guest Services station and I am ready to set things moving. The Guest Services Specialist could be regarded as the ship captain who controls the concessions deck, tickets, and the cleaners of the poop deck, or the used theaters. A job like this can never be done alone, even if there are only a couple of people on board. "Clean up theater 7," I say, "replace the ticket paper," I demand.
