Lease or Own A Car

Buying a car and not taking a lease car was the first decision I had to make when I arrived in Michigan. When I arrived in Michigan, I realized that the way of transportations is very limited. I could not get to a bus or taxi in an easy way especially when I didn’t have a bank account at that time. If I needed to go to a certain place, I had to ask people to help me get there. Most people were not able to offer me a ride due to work. I had two choices to decide, one of them was to buy a car and the other was to lease one. Therefore, I decided to buy a car. Even though it is more expensive to purchase a car by putting the amount of money down than to lease. However, the insurance is less. In addition, I am able

Furthermore, I was worried about the damages that could occur on the car during the period of owning the car in case of an accident. If I had leased a car instead of buying, the insurance could be much higher. Also, constantly being worried of not going over the mileages designated to the leased car in order to not getting charged any extra fees for each mile beyond the limit given by the contract. Being low on budget was a problem especially if I had a problem with the car, the company will not repair it for me. Buying the car was more effective for me because I can sell it whenever I want. I am not afraid of scratching the car or getting a car accident. I did external research before buying the car by going to different websites and asking different people about which choice they prefer and why. I got different answers to my question, but the final decision was mine. Which I picked the choice that worked for me the most and that can help me prevent losing money. I learned that if I am a safer driver or fast driver that will not matter because no one can predict what will happen in the future. Also, I learned that I can save more money by buying the car and selling it than leasing a car and return it

The reason why I didn’t choose it is because more people have cars that drive on roads than suburban homes. A factory that makes tires, windshields, and other replacement parts would not be profitable because you wouldn't have the patents to make the parts. A chain of car repair shops would not be profitable because they have a lot of competition doing the exact same thing. A bank that specializes in consumer car loans is too risky. A chain of roadside motels would fail because they are not popular and don’t see a lot of…

On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…
