Personal Myth Assignment: Shelby Mason

Once upon a time there was a cowgirl princess named Fiona. Fiona had dreams to win the NFR and become a professional barrel racer. In spite of achieving her goals, daily Fiona would go out to the barn where her shetland pony, Pinky, stayed. She would practice running barrels on Pinky, but her times just weren't seeming to be fast enough. Fiona was beginning to aggravated and discouraged, but that didn't stop her. Fiona tried everything from feeding Pinky special energy boosters and powders, I but sadly it just made her slower.

Fiona cried to her mother and said that her dreams would never come true. Fiona's mother saw all the hard work she was putting in and felt bad, so she decided to do something about it. The next day when Fiona went to feed Pinky she was gone. In her place was a magical unicorn. This just wasn't just any ordinary unicorn. He had supersonic powers and could travel as fast as light.

Fiona was amazed at how much horsepower her unicorn had. Fiona ran into her castle and called the NFR headquarters to enter up in the next rodeo. The next one was in a day. She had lots of practice to be done before a race that big but Fiona was confident in her new unicorn. The next day Fiona, her mom, and her new unicorn loaded up and headed to the rodeo at Mystic Island. When Fiona got there she tacked up her unicorn and scoped out her competition. She was beginning to feel butterflies in her stomach. Fiona was nervous since she hadn't had much practice on her new unicorn and this is their first real
