Dictionary.Com defines motivation as the condition of being eager to act or work. This mentality plays a major role in the workforce and impacts millions of individuals daily. In order for an individual to experience success and self independence, motivation mute exist. From childhood, I personally was taught to complete tasks on my own that normal children could not possibly imagine. I grew up in an Italian home with parents both born outside the country and siblings that were all much older than me. With that being said, there was truly too much for my parents to handle between working, caring for my siblings, and dealing with their own lives. In a workplace, and individual may feel motivated to work more efficiently and cooperate so that his or her reputation can be built. This also includes transferring to a new job and needing a reference. The only way to receive a good recommendation is by having a strong reputation with the company you previously worked for.
Wealth: This is a very obvious motivator which works in a negative way as well. If an individual dedicates their life to making money and disturbing the well being of others, his or her motivation is clearly hurtful. You can strive to make a good living and provide for your family but wealth should not be a driving motivation factor.
Financial Stability: If an individual is successful enough to obtain a wealthy status though healthy actions, then there is no wrong doing. A motivating factor should in fact be to remain financially stable. This depicts that while you are not living strictly to make money you do in fact have a motive to provide for yourself and family in a healthy manner.
Impact on Others Lives: Some individuals see themselves as role models for others. One may possibly strive to be successful so that they one day can provide an example for younger men or woman in the

Part of the reason I work when I return home for break is so that I am occupied and I don’t fight with my family or lose my drive. My motivation to work is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and relationship with my family.
Commitment: Certain morals are greatly important to an individual and his or her choices. If you committed to working for an individual, even though you might not be getting paid what you want to be getting paid, your motivation to continue working is your commitment.
Stock/Employee Benefits: Although the salary of a job is important, the additional benefits received from working are important. Certain jobs provide workers with benefits such as stock incentives, health insurance. One may be motivated to continue working in order to retrieve these benefits.
Goals: A major step in being successful is creating and achieving goals. If you are mature enough to develop your own goals, one can be motivated to complete these goals.
Happiness: In the end, how happy you are as an individual is what is most important. If having a family, having wealth, or having a business makes you happy, you should do everything in your power to obtain your goal. Your happiness is your
