Do you know what values are and which are the most important to you? Values are defined as a person’s ethics of behavior shaping the person’s vision. There are many ways to comprehend what is important to the person but one way is by taking the Rokeach Value Survey. The survey was created by psychologist Milton Rokeach consisting of the most important values. The personal models of leadership are personal growth and development which were broken down into four different values. The values were divided by different levels, behavior, meaning and impact. In order to be a leader, one must first be a servant who serves others first otherwise they will never know what people need. Servant leadership has values that allowed people to follow their footsteps. My own personal model of leadership is generated from different jobs allowing me to comprehend the morals of real servant leader must own. Second, the value of interpersonal that guides as a servant leader are to be a responsible. The value of responsible in a servant leadership is that they are responsible for others well-being. Also, they understand the responsibilities they have with their community well-being. The behavior and actions in interpersonal are taking responsibilities in problem-solving. I help others by find a solution to their needs and promoting personal development to others. The meaning and purpose I want to teach my team are to take responsibilities of their actions and taking and take it as a learning experience. The impact of being responsible is that I will encourage others to work for what they want to carry out their goals.
