This section is about what type of organization I want to target. What demographic I would prefer, such as large or small. I will be wanting to go into a smaller demographic so I will not be overwhelmed. I want communication to be as fast as it can. What I would want the psychographic to be like, conservative, or progressive. Progressive seems as though it would fit my personality better because I do not want a boring office job. I want to be able to be myself within the company. Also what behavioristic and characteristics I would like the organization to possess. I will be wanting to go in the automobile industry. Preferably one of the big three. I believe the automobile industry has plenty of room for growth. In this section I will be giving my Positioning Statement. The product is me. I am what I am attempting to sell to my employers. I want to make myself sound much more qualified than anyone else trying to get this position. I need to make my potential employers believe I can get the job done better than anyone else. The next thing is price. I need the company to know what it will cost to hire me. This allows me to do research on starting salaries and explain why I should be paid that amount. This also allows the company to understand that I know what I am worth. Place is the next task. This implies where I want to be, any geological preferences. I prefer to stay within Michigan, which is quite possible since I want to go into the automobile industry. I also must identify the distribution of channels my job will utilize. I also must have two examples of direct channels, which involves connecting directly with my targeted firm. Such as me reaching out to an employer with an application. And two examples of indirect channels, involving independent intermediary to distribute my materials in my place. Such as my Dad knowing someone in the company and recommending me to them. The last of the marketing mix is promotion.
