“Determination gives you the resolve to keep going in spite of the roadblocks that lay before you. ” – Denis Waitley I have hit many roadblocks and have overcome many obstacles in life. In doing so, I have found that through sheer perseverance, dedication, hard work and a good attitude you can achieve anything. It has taken me a lot longer to reach my goals than I originally planned but I refuse to give up. Below you will find more information about my journey in life and the obstacles that I have had to overcome to get where I am now.
In Chapter 2, my Kolb learning styles, I offered a summary of my learning styles which include Assimilative and Divergent. I don’t necessarily agree with these findings since I learn primarily from hands

I would consider Workplace learning, Experiential learning and Informal learning as the most important learning experiences in my life to date. By incorporating these three styles I am better able to grasp the material at hand and apply these theories and the knowledge obtained to my everyday life. In Chapter 5, my abilities, interests, knowledge, and skills, I offered a summary of the current job market, how my knowledge and skills relate to my professional interests. I have learned a great deal from my experiences to date and I strive for continuous improvement. I have grown academically from my experience at Texas State and professionally from my experience at Taylor ISD. I hope to utilize the skills learned in my chosen career path upon completion of my Bachelor’s degree.
In chapter 2, you learned about my Kolb learning style according to the learning style inventory assignment. My thinking has shifted in that I believe a person does not learn according to one learning style but utilizes all of Kolb’s learning styles in their everyday life. In chapter 3, you read my biography as a worker. I hope to obtain a career by utilizing all of the skills learned in the different industries that I have worked in.     I use SEQUENCE first because I am a well organized person, I am the type of person who wants the clear step by step instruction and I like to set up for my tasks and if possible be given an example to ensure that I am doing what is required. I use this pattern when paying my monthly bills I fill in my calendar for each month with the name of the bill the due date and the amount owed.
