Personal Leadership Strengths: Servant Leadership Analysis

In the Synergize category, I scored 14 which rated me as very good. I believe this is true in my day-to-day life, in and outside of work. I have always been very empathetic with people I speak to. I listen to what he or she is saying and always try to see myself in ‘their shoes’ so that I can have a great understanding of what he/she may be going through; further is shows that I am invested in them and want to be involved and help in any way I can.
Sharpen the Saw- Good Sharpening the Saw was another category that I scored low in but still rated as good. The overall issue with this category lies within the physical health and wellbeing. Working and going to school full time as well as trying to care for my grandfather has really created

The first strength I believe I am good at is being a servant, that is, providing service to customers. As a healthcare provider, I believe I inspire those around me to provide great service to the patients we care for and those we engage with during educational presentations. According to Root the “strong positive feelings between management and employees that the servant leadership style promotes translate into a high sense of morale (Root, 2017). As stated, this increases the organizations overall morale and helps foster a productive team.
2. Second, I believe that I am strong when it comes to diversity. In every organization, there are several talents, personalities, beliefs, etc. As a servant leader, I feel as though we exceed in acknowledging the diversity everyone brings to the team using that diversity to establish success as well as further establishing a strong relation amongst the team.
3. Third, I believe that being a servant leader helps provide growth and development within the organization or department. I believe that since I care for the success of others and help by being a servant, I can further nurture my team’s growth because I see and understand everyone’s contributions (Podsada,
