My Trip To Ellis Island Entry One August 13 1892 : Today we have started our journey from Sweden and we are on our way to the boat I have been told that it is going to be a long hike so this is going to be the only way I can express my thoughts because my family does not want to listen to me so this is my most prized possession.
Entry Two August 16,1892: For breakfast we had a biscuit then we went on our way then dad said that we would be there in about 6 more days. I don't think I could last another day on this boat mom and sister are getting sick and have already ruined there clothes do to the constant feeling of being sick.
Entry Three August 21,1892: I awoke this morning to the sound of gagging and when I looked up I seen a group of people at the end of the aisle and I heard some crying someone had died and there were people getting sick at the smell of the body,it was terrible and the crew had to come down and get the body. …show more content…
Entry Five August 30,1892: We just landed in Manhattan and they let the 1st and 2nd class into the USA and we are about to get on the fairy to take us to Ellis Island. Mama said that this is going to have to be my last journal entry that I will have to leave everything in the luggage
