At the beginning of the work with the client, Roger, who is obese and struggling with health and social issues? Before beginning counseling, it will be is required to compile specific information such as family relationships and his childhood background .This information will assist in identifying Rogers worldviews, lifestyle and understand his way of communicating with others. This information will benefit in evaluating whether the client has problems in socializing. Next, explaining confidentially and receiving a signed consent form would be required. Further, the problems of solitude and loneliness may have emerged from family relations, which can explain the current problems of the counselee .The ambition of the counselling process for Roger will be to instill peace of mind and body in Roger by understanding his needs and limits towards a healthy lifestyle. Health problems could be intertwined with a range of psychological problems associated with relationship-building difficulties. Becoming educated on the problem of obesity and its initial cause is essential in order to assess the onset of the disease. If it has psychological characteristics related to overeating, it would be appropriate to select an approach based on the regulation of unhealthy eating habits. If it has clinical characteristics and the cause is by another disease, it would be appropriate to select a set of supportive techniques that would help Roger to handle the problem of obesity and refer him to a medical physician. Obesity could become a personal limitation due to the lack of experience of working with obese people.
