Personal Improvement Project I have always loved the Spanish language and have been studying the subject since 7th grade. This summer, I plan on studying abroad in Costa Rica and staying with a family who lives there. Since deciding this, I realized that I should be practicing in preparation for my trip. Spanish has always been something I am interested in and will help me in my future career as a nurse. That’s why I have dedicated three weeks to learning the language in as many ways as possible. Each day I attempted to incorporate Spanish in some form. I did manage to accomplish this. Any time I got on Netflix, I made sure to watch La Rosa de Guadalupe instead of my normal TV shows. Instead of picking one TV show, I could have chosen Spanish
