I stood in the line next to her, watching her play a game on her phone. Behind her my partner nodded at me. I slowly pulled out my gun while he shot the air above him. I grabbed the girl around the waist and put my gun against her head and dragged her back. She dropped her phone and struggled against my hold. “Stop moving and I won’t shoot you.” I whisper in her ear.

I looked back and saw her red hair spread out across the back of the seat. We came to a stop in front of my house. He gave me half of the money and I pulled the girl out. I walked inside my house, heading to the basement. Once I was down there, I put her on the floor. I checked her pockets and only found her wallet. Alice Lyric? The piercing fear in her eyes struck me hard. She was in a complete and utter state of panic, trembling uncontrollably and gasping for air. A tear fell softly from her eye and onto her hand which was throbbing and purple from the tight grip on her wheelchair. Almost instinctively, I grabbed Bergita's hands and locked in on her eyes.…
