For example, I experienced one of my peers cursing at their mother. Thinking in my head I could never do that to the women who gave birth to me. I personally though that is it beyond disrespectful. The things that will never change about me are my values and morals. Which are putting God first then my family, getting a education, being healthy, and respecting those who deserve to be respected. I have also learned some new things about myself. I have learned more about my personality and who I am right now and who I would like to be in the future, and my career values. For example, in the near future I would like be wealthy, happy, and traveling the world. I also figured out my work values like nurturing others, supporting them and educating them. I created a meaningful work statement which was “I am here to make a difference because I value personal development/growth and have an interest in children, I will use my caring for others to nurture young children so they can grow to be strong, healthy, and independent”. I will continue making that statement true throughout my 4 years here getting my Bachelor’s degree.
I also will be exploring how it feels to live in an apartment and to have a room of my own. I 've always had to share a room with my twin sister and now in college i 'm sharing a room again. Im very excited about living in an apartment next year. Also the traditional “dorm style” housing is not for me. I 'm not a fan of all the loud noise and music that goes on in the dorm hallway. I definitely do not like the community bathrooms that I have to share with 30 other females. So next year I will get to experience how it feels to live in an apartment hopefully it wont let me
