As I said I was actively involved in sports. When I was about eight years old, I began to help my 15 year old brother doing lawn and snow maintenance. I began working at an early age. Being involved in sports and with work taught me valuable life lessons. At times I felt the world was on my shoulders and I was helplessly walking through a deep pack of snow. Those life lessons and experiences taught me to create better time management skills and better quality service to my customers and my teammates. Over this past Summer I was looking back at the years. I looked back at old scrap books, year books, photos, and all the memories that came with them. As I began to reflect upon my life experiences, I realized one valuable theme, leadership. To be honest I was not the kid you would expect to become a leader, at least that’s what I thought. To my belief I was just an ordinary kid who had something to prove. Something to prove to my friends and family. Looking back I realized that everything I went through was and still is preparing me to be positive, responsible, and respectful
