When I got the letter in the mail and talked to Mr.Steele I realized that it would be an honor to be included in NHS. National Honors Society looks to help the needy and one thing I love to do is help. I feel that I would be right in this society because ever since I was little I had a goal, and that was to be successful and help along the way. Growing up my parents taught me to take responsibility and achieve whatever I set my mind to. I truly believe that in my years of schooling I have displayed all four essentials; scholarship, leadership, character, and service.

I hope to be a good example for those who need help, or those who do nothing and need a little inspiration. I have used my leadership to help those in need, like food drives for the hungry, and activities for youth groups. Leadership is not only critical for yourself but for everyone else, you have to listen to everybody and help them understand for you to be a good leader.
Having a good character is influential to others. Different types of behavior can be considered good character. I believe to be good you always have to be honest and take responsibility for your actions. As well as follow rules, volunteer, and be respectful. In high school it may be harder to recognize good character but if you pay close attention a person who may make mistakes but is polite, responsible, and follows the rules no matter what everyone else is doing. A time when I did something honorable was when I helped youth do a craft, which may have frustrated me, but I still was generous, fair, communicative, patient, and
