All the time I never thought that I was a creative person although I was a good student in my teacher’s eye since my childhood. I studied hard and followed every step that my teacher told me to take, but I still felt that I was not the person who I wanted to be. I wanted to be a person who was not only good at study but also a creative person; however, I always lacked confidence to say that because I had never come up with a creative idea before. Later until I knew the story of Bill Gates created the Microsoft system, he has become the idol of me and I was determined to become a creative person and created something that could make change happen. Many years past however, I never stopped thinking about how I could become a creative person, and …show more content…
After all, this was also the priority of the game at that time. Suddenly I noticed that we had one red ball and one blue ball, so I immediately told everyone that we can play together and used both these two balls. In order to illustrate the rules more clearly, I separated our 20 people into 2 teams: A team and B team. The brand new rule was every team had 1 ball and the rule of scoring was to shoot no matter which ball into the opposite team 's gate. For example, if A team shot it 's red ball into B team 's gate, A team got 1 point. However if A team stole B team 's blue ball and shot it into B team 's gate, A team got 2 point, vice versa. At this moment, I thought of the birth of the hasp. Just because George de Mestral coincidentally found his dog covered with a bed of thorns after a walk, he finally created the hasp. So, I thought maybe this time I could create a brand new style of soccer, but I also knew that the start of everything was tough especially when the thing you were doing had never existed …show more content…
Although it was crazy and a little bit messy, everyone laughed and felt unforgettable because the game was crazy and unprecedented.

I deeply realized the power of creativity through that game, although I just come up with a "weird" soccer game. Just because of my "weird" thought, 20 people had a really great time together in just 1 soccer game; just because my "weird" thought, we avoided a potential argument. I never thought I was a creative person, but that day, this game have helped me realized that I was a creative person and I could come up with some creative ideas that make the change happen, even if the idea was just about a soccer game.

After that day, I was more confident of myself and I was always willing to try some brand new things and thought widely. That was not merely a soccer game; that was a lesson that taught me and gave me power, confidence, and creativity. Everyone has a creative brain, and the reason why someone thinks that they are not creative is just because they haven’t met a chance to open their creative mind. If you kept trusting yourself and kept thinking positively, you will find you are also a creative person one

I have never really considered myself a history buff, nor do I tend to indulge myself in any sort of history in my spare time. Like many others, I took this course, Role Playing American History, in order to fulfill a general education requirement, and my counselor said she has heard this course is pretty entertaining. However, I found myself truly enjoying this course for many reasons beyond being able to argue with my classmates. This course truly did help me to better learn about American history for several reasons, as well as alter the way I view history in general. First and foremost, the game itself taught me a variety of information about American history.…

Creativity, an essential skill that can simultaneously help advance the world and communicate different perceptions of an idea, has gradually declined since 1990. Original ideas are vital when it comes to problem solving, technological advancements, communication, and much more. If the public worldwide stops creating new ideas, the world will experience a plateau rather than growth in development. In order to boost creativity in the population, it is best to start at the foundation of all skills, school. Supported by a scientific study and personal experience, creative thinking should be taught in school, because without explicit practice of thinking creatively, the mind begins to lose that skill.…

In 1986 two Social Psychologists (Markus and Nurius) created the part of the social self called “Possible Selves”. Possible Selves is an image of who you could be in the future or who you were in the past. How we see ourselves is triggered by experiences we go through and what others may tell us. If we experience something negative or are told something negative then we will only see a negative self. Same goes with positive experiences; if you experience something positive or if you are told something positive then you will see a positive self.…

Soccer was divided into two teams, the rules allowed tripping, kicking and carrying the ball and the rules only permitted the use of feet and any other part of the body. In October 1863, eleven representatives from London clubs and schools gathered at the freemason’s tavern to set up the rules of the game. They came up with rules about the outlining of goal kicks, throw ins and the goalkeepers’ rights, all of which are still in today’s rules of the game. In December during the same year, the Rugby football and…

In conclusion, creativity is one of the most important qualities that humans possess, yet it is sometimes undermined in today’s school system. Some people are naturally more “imaginative” than others and that is why teacher collaboration with creative professionals is often key to encouraging and nourishing a healthy and creative classroom atmosphere. When students are pushed to think outside the box, they will continue to do so outside the classroom. This “domino effect” leads to personal growth, and creative problem solving in real world scenarios, which is a desirable trait in the business and economic…

I have never personally thought of myself as a creative person but maybe it isn’t entirely my fault or any other student who feels the same way. As future educators it is our job to teach children material, but shouldn’t we be educating the whole child rather than just their head. If we get children moving, creating, and thinking with more than just their head we could end up finding that we have students who are brilliant, but not in the normal academic way public education looks for. We could discover musicians and dancers and artist if we gave those students an option, instead we rely heavily on how academically prepared our students will be for standardized tests or getting into college; we fail to help them discover their real potential by eliminating their creative…

Current research into gender differences in creativity is inconclusive. The majority of research into creativity stems from Guilford’s (1950) work. Although it, marginally, infers a relationship between gender and creativity, there is evidence to the contrary, such as Goldsmith and Matherly (1998) and Henderson (2003). Creativity is the ability to exhibit creative behaviour to a noteworthy degree (Guilford, 1950). Guildford identified several key principles of creativity (fluency and flexibility).…
