Personal Essay: Waste Time In The United States

Decent Essays
Now let me make this very clear, that the activity of everyone in this world can be the difference.
Now I agree with Thomas Jefferson with something that he wrote, he said “Determine never to be idle it is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing”.

Some people like me basically are always doing something in constant movement, my case I always do something keeping in mind success came getting a simple first job, this activities are probably the most commons, but is something that maintain our time organized going for the best way.

Some other people prefer waste their time, I call waste time because it is what exactly it is, they decide don’t do nothing knowing that if they do can be productive for their future.

The Ugly American depicts the difficulties the United States experienced in trying to defeat communism in Southeast Asia. It highlighted methods that the U.S. should have adopted to be successful and the ones that led to failure. The book demonstrated how the political and social climates were affected by individuals’ lack of consideration and awareness of the Sarkhanese culture. The characters in this book are fictional, however some share similar qualities of American diplomats serving abroad today. In this essay, I will identify characters that either succeeded or failed to create a positive and productive atmosphere that supported the U.S. interests.…

The process of actually moving to Japan involved a total of twenty four hours on commercial flights and twelve hours in an airport for a layover. Becoming an American “The interaction of disparate cultures, the vehemence of the ideals that led the immigrants here, the opportunity offered by a new life, all gave America a flavor and a character that make it as unmistakable and as remarkable to people today as it was to Alexis de Tocqueville in the early part of the nineteenth century.” (John F. Kennedy, a Nation of Immigrants) I believe that America is an interesting place with all different kinds of ethnic/racial groups. The problem is how the experience of becoming an American is so different for ethnic/racial groups. I find very troublesome to see how people were treated for just because they were different.…
