My first time leaving the country. I was so excited to be going all the way to Mexico. I packed a week ahead for the journey. When we got on the plane, I was probably the most annoying person on there because I was asking my mom non-stop “Are we almost there?” Finally, my six hour flight had come to an end and we were in mexico. Some hated it, some loved. The day where you will spend the night in a cabin with a bunch of your classmates and teachers. Going into the day I didn’t know how it was going to go like the trip. I heard stories of 5th graders, who went to Clear Lake last year, that loved the trip and wished they could go back. My sister, who was in 6th grade at the time, hated Clear lake and wished she never went. The time came and we hopped on the bus to Clear Lake. When we got there, we got in our cabins. I was in the Osprey cabin with a group of boys. Mr. Collins was our supervisor. The day went on and I was having a pretty good time up until supper. When supper was served I was starving. By nightfall I ended up having to go to the bathroom every half hour or so, thinking I was going to throw up. Finally, all of the cabin’s lights turned off and Mr. Collins got done telling his annual scary story. I fell asleep on the top bunk of a bed until I was awoken by my stomach growling. I immediately got up and ran outside into the bathroom. Luckily, the bathroom was right outside our cabin so I was able to make it. I was up the rest of the night puking. To anyone that hasn’t been to Clear Lake, do not eat too much of their
